CAMbrands Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Welcome to CAMbrands—the modern marketplace where Boards & Managers connect with trusted Vendors & Service Providers to source, manage, and complete community association projects.

By accessing or using CAMbrands (“the Platform”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before continuing to use the site.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, posting a request for proposal (RFP), submitting a proposal, or otherwise engaging with the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. User Roles & Eligibility
CAMbrands serves two primary user groups:

A. Boards & Managers
This includes HOA and condo board members, community managers, and decision-makers who post RFPs or hire vendors through the platform.

B. Vendors & Service Providers
This includes licensed professionals, contractors, and companies offering services in categories such as Access Control & Surveillance, Accounting & Collections, Amenity & Facility Management, Banking & Lending, Concierge Security & Enforcement, Concrete & Structural, Deck Fencing & Roofing, Elections & Governance, Electrical & HVAC, Elevator & Utility Monitoring, Engineering & Reserve Study, Exterior Construction & Maintenance, Fitness Playground & Pool, HR Payroll & Benefits Management, Interior Renovation & Remodeling, IT & Web Development, Janitorial & Trash Removal, Landscaping & Pest Control, Legal & Advisory, Onsite Staffing & Recruiting, Painting & Pressure Washing, Plumbing & Waterproofing, Project Management & CapEx, Restoration & Stormwater Pond, Social Events & Holiday Decorations, Solar & EV Charging, Taxes & Insurance, and any other category of service applicable to community associations.

To use CAMbrands, users must:
Be at least 18 years old
Provide accurate, truthful information during registration
Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials

3. Platform Purpose
CAMbrands acts as a neutral, third-party marketplace facilitating the connection between Boards & Managers and Vendors & Service Providers.
CAMbrands is not a party to contracts formed between users and does not guarantee performance or outcomes.

4. Vendor & Service Provider Requirements
To remain in good standing, Vendors & Service Providers must:
Maintain valid business licenses and liability insurance
Accurately represent their qualifications and pricing
Respond professionally to RFPs and client communications
Keep required documentation current and available
Failure to meet these standards may result in account suspension or removal from the Platform.

5. Board & Manager Responsibilities
Boards & Managers are expected to:
Use the platform for lawful community-related projects only
Provide complete and accurate RFPs
Treat vendors professionally and communicate in good faith
Review vendor performance honestly and responsibly

6. Proposals, Selection & Contracts
Boards & Managers can compare vendor proposals, initiate conversations, and award projects. Final agreements, pricing, and scopes are negotiated directly between both parties.
CAMbrands does not supervise or enforce individual contract terms between users.

7. Payments
CAMbrands may provide tools to facilitate payments between users but is not responsible for late, failed, or disputed transactions. Payment terms must be agreed to in writing between the parties involved.

8. Ratings & Reviews
Both user types may leave public reviews after a project. Reviews are subject to moderation to prevent abuse, spam, or misinformation.
By using CAMbrands, you agree to the public display of feedback related to your work or RFPs.

9. Prohibited Use of Platform
All users are prohibited from:
Posting false or misleading information
Circumventing the platform to avoid fees or agreements
Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
Uploading viruses, spam, or malicious code
CAMbrands reserves the right to investigate violations and take appropriate legal or account-related action.

10. Intellectual Property
All content on CAMbrands (including logos, code, and site materials) is owned or licensed by CAMbrands and may not be copied, distributed, or modified without written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between Boards & Managers and Vendors & Service Providers must be resolved between those parties. CAMbrands may assist informally but does not guarantee conflict resolution.

12. Limitation of Liability
CAMbrands is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for damages resulting from platform use, including missed deadlines, poor performance, or lost revenue.

13. Modifications to Terms
CAMbrands may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.

14. Account Termination
CAMbrands reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its discretion, with or without cause, and without advance notice.

15. Governing Law
These Terms and any use of the CAMbrands Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of the state in which the transaction or project takes place. By using the Platform, you agree that any legal action or dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction and venue of the appropriate courts within the United States.
